After several collaboration with Birkenstock, Sims 3, Adidas Original, Manhattan Portage, Panini and Coca-Cola – just to name a few – Diesel’s younger brand 55DSL, has just launched a capsule collection for this winter of him and her outfits created in collaboration with 686, the snowboarding technical apparel brand founded 22 years ago.
This American brand offers an original character blending the California style of Los Angeles with the world of American ski resorts. The result is an unconventional collection that integrate technical outerwear pieces into the fashion world, with metal and punk elements.
The man wears an outfit with elements of jeans and leather. The baggy trousers bring to mind the skateboarder style, while the jacket has an American flag emblazoned across the back. The women wears what looks like a pair of worn out jeans, mottled with paint stains. The jacket is a mix of camouflage on the arms and leopard print on the body. The collection can be found on both of the brands’ retail websites and in Diesel stores.
